The Economy of Calories – Burning More Than I’m Taking In
I slept in a bit this morning, so there were many things that I said “no” to in order to get an hour or so more of sleep. I must admit that it felt great! The choice to sleep in was at a cost to other things, however. I said “no” to getting the house a bit cleaner, I said “no” to writing a longer blog, and I said “no” to spending more time on social media and reading the news.
The Big YES!
The big “YES” was making sure that I kept up with my goal of walking each day (6 days a week) at least 4 miles. There were many temptations to not do this, but by saying “yes,” I’m going into my day with the realization that I’ve accomplished a big goal already… I can say that I actually won something already!
I’m run/walking 4 miles. Not going to consume calories that will negate this hard work! #health #lifeimin pic.twitter.com/mEu950XRCp

Accomplishing My Daily Goal
Getting off the couch and exercise does not come naturally to me. I’d much rather have a bowl of ice cream and cup of coffee. I worked hard to accomplish this goal today and I have a renewed desire to not negate this work by eating junk. Remember to live LIFE–Living Intentionally Full Engaged!
